Terms and Conditions
REPAIRS: Defective merchandise is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We are an authorized dealer for the products we sell but are not a warranty repair center. Items must be sent to the manufactures warranty repair centers for service.
RETURNS: EPIRBstore.com has a no return policy, unless an error is ours.
Any merchandise authorized for return must be new, complete, and in saleable condition including the original box, manuals, accessories, copy of sales receipt and warranty card. A copy of our original invoice must be included.
Prior authorization is required, Contact EPIRBstore.com for a return authorization number before returning an item. Shipping is not refundable. Outdoor antennas, software and custom cables are not refundable. All returns are subject to 15% restock charge.
All returns must be shipped prepaid. Exchange merchandise will go forward F.O.B.
New Jersey . We will not accept C.O.D.'s for returns. Returns under $50.00 will not be accepted. Opened EPIRB's can not be returned for safety reasons.
BACK ORDERS: EPIRBstore.com carries an extensive inventory to minimize "back ordered" items. Because of manufacturer shortages, backorders do occasionally occur. You may cancel any backordered item at any time for any reason. We will not bill your credit card until we actually ship.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS: If you receive a damaged parcel from UPS, note this with the driver and refuse the shipment. It will be returned to EPIRBstore.com and we will replace it for you at no additional cost.
PRICES: Prices and specifications are subject to change! We are not responsible for typographical errors. Please call to confirm prices on larger items.
FOREIGN ORDERS: Foreign orders may require verification by phone or fax. Shipping amounts indicated are for the
U.S.A. only. We can provide shipping quotes. We do not ship large amateur antennas outside of the
United States . Some manufacturer's warranties are not valid outside of the
United States . Foreign orders will be sent surface rate unless air is specifically requested.
Fed Ex: If a parcel arrives in a damaged condition, refuse to accept it. It will be returned to us. We will file a claim and replace it for you. If you discover concealed damage once you have accepted delivery:
Call Fed Ex for an inspection
Hold on to all original packing, boxing, cartons, etc.
Fed Ex will inform you what to do.
Truck: EPIRBstore.com ships all truck shipments on an F.O.B.
New Jersey basis. This means it is consigned to you once it leaves our facility. If a package is received in a damaged condition or if there is a shortage:
Note on freight bill.
Call trucking company for an inspection.
File a claim with the carrier for damage. They will handle it directly with you.
Your original Bill of Lading is required in the claim process. It is attached to our invoice.
Shipping & Handling Charges: All of our Fed Ex shipments include charges for insurance at the rate of .55 per $100.00 of net invoice cost. Additionally, a $2.00, $5.00 for USPS, per box handling charge is applied.
